Card photos and OCR

When you choose a card image, the site prepares the image and runs optical character recognition (OCR) in your browser. The selected image is not included in the request sent to HoloWorth’s identification endpoint.

The extracted text and OCR confidence information are sent to the identification endpoint so it can search supported card catalogs. Those catalogs may receive text-based search queries derived from the card name, set, or printed number.

Accounts and payments

HoloWorth currently does not require an account and does not directly collect payment-card information. If you follow a link to another website, that service’s privacy practices apply.

Hosting and technical data

Like most websites, our hosting and security providers may process limited technical data such as IP address, browser type, request time, requested URL, and error logs. This information is used to deliver, secure, and diagnose the service.

Data choices

You can use the informational pages without uploading a card. You can also close or refresh the page to clear the current scan result from the interface. Do not upload images containing people, addresses, account numbers, or other personal information.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the service changes. The date at the top will show the latest revision. A public support inbox is being configured and will be listed on the contact page when available.
